1. Use of the App
The App provides access to the King James Version of the Bible with features including reading, audio playback, highlighting, note-taking, search, and daily devotionals.
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
2. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
The App offers auto-renewable subscription plans to remove advertisements:
- Monthly Plan: Billed monthly. Removes all advertisements.
- Yearly Plan: Billed annually. Removes all advertisements.
Important subscription terms:
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
- You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your Apple ID account settings in the App Store after purchase.
- Any unused portion of a free trial period (if offered) will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- All payments are processed by Apple. We do not collect or have access to your payment information.
3. Bible Content
The King James Version (KJV) of the Bible is in the public domain and is freely available for use. The App provides this text along with modern editorial summaries and features to enhance your reading experience.
Daily devotional content is provided for inspirational purposes. Translations of devotional content are generated by machine translation and may not be perfectly accurate.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of any highlights, notes, and other personal content you create within the App. This content is stored locally on your device.
If you delete the App or your device data, your locally stored content may be permanently lost.
5. Advertisements
The free version of the App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. These may include banner ads, interstitial ads, rewarded video ads, and app open ads.
You can remove all advertisements by subscribing to a premium plan.
We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.
6. Account and Authentication
Creating an account is optional. If you choose to sign in, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You may delete your account at any time through the App’s Settings page.
7. Intellectual Property
The App’s design, code, summaries, and features (excluding the public domain KJV text) are the intellectual property of the App developers. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the App.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.
Machine-translated content (devotionals, summaries) is provided for convenience and may contain inaccuracies.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
10. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
